DriveEasier vs. CarEdge: how they differ

Updated

CarEdge offers car-buying research, market data and software, plus a paid concierge in which its team negotiates for you. DriveEasier does one thing: a person sources your car from nearby dealers, negotiates the whole deal and brings back one written quote, for a flat $1,000. Which suits you depends on how much you want to run yourself.

Who each suits

CarEdge can suit someone who wants to research and negotiate with good tools, or hand the deal to its concierge. DriveEasier suits someone who wants one person-run service for one flat fee, with refund terms in writing: the full fee back within 24 hours of paying, half after that until you sign.

Whichever you choose, compare written out-the-door prices, and read our guide on the invoice price before you lean on it in a negotiation.
